Georgia’s Classic Country Fall Porch

Georgia lives in the beautiful countryside near the North Georgia mountains and her design aesthetic leans more toward traditional and updated country. Over the weekend, we finalized Georgia’s Classic Country Porch. Georgia’s home contains blue and pale yellow tones throughout and we wanted to showcase the same design elements in her front entry way. Decorating for Fall doesn’t have to always be the rich, earth tones but slightly more muted tones that are already in your home and garden. For Georgia’s porch, we re-purposed items that we already had on hand and simply bought a few mums and colorful plants. Georgia spent a total of $10 to makeover her porch for Fall.

For the left side of the porch, we hung Georgia’s new sign from Painted Expressions. Underneath the monogram, we placed her antique bench and layered a blue and yellow plaid blanket with yellow pillows. A demijohn filled a few golden rods, a red mum and a pumpkin round out this vignette.

Across the porch, we added Georgia’s Annie Sloan Duck Egg Blue table with a few pumpkins, mums and a colorful Croton houseplant.

For the front door, we wanted something simple and whimsical. (This project would be wonderful with dried flowers!). We picked a bunch of orange Cosmos from Georgia’s garden and hung with white burlap.

Ahhh . . . it’s finally Fall at Georgia’s place! The front porch is now a welcoming spot for friends and family visiting the country.
